I am thinking of 185/65/R14 (MICHELIN Energy XM1+) for the Getz D. While I didnt see anyone suggesting this (or did I miss it?!), this size happens to be 2.23% bigger than the stock. The speedo error (as per Tire size calculator) is 2.2% slower than the stock 175/65/R14.

I was thinking that usually the speedo reading with stock rubber would be faster than actuals, so this may actually be a correcting factor

- is it a bad idea to go for this upsize?
