I dont think that i30 will be on the Indian roads soon. First, I think they will be bringing the sedan here.

Its better to go in for Getz CRDi as you are keen on hatch and dont like the handling of Verna. However, if you want you can wait for i20. i20 will be mostly available with the 1.5 110bhp diesel engine.
