How much of a difference does 1.2bhp make to you, exactly? Or to the car's performance and fuel efficiency? I admire your accuracy, but there's no need to swat a fly with a sledgehammer.

You haven't read the statement clearly, again - they say "no diesel plans at the moment." Those last three words are important. The report states facts, not speculation. If you have inside information on the diesel, good for you. This report is about what was said at the launch, and not about what the writer feels their plans are.
