I think the worldwide launch of Toyota Corolla was late because they were to redesign the panels i.e. exterior looks after Toyota saw Civic.
US also got the Corolla late.
IIRC, ACI ( AutoCar India ) had mentioned since long that Corolla is coming in August 2008.
Neverthless, it is reported in another thread that Corolla is coming with 137PS/ ( approx )134.9 bhp!
The dealers will have a reason to rejoice again.
BTW, did he mention the real date of lauch of Toyota Corolla ?
