Basically all this stuff is solid oil base which has higher thickness (As I say it) which aid in better lubrication due to which some friction noise is reduced and some amount of energy lost in friction is made up for..
I dont know how good Bardahl is but I have used Pyramid engine oil additive in my Zen and it gave quite good outcomes... I am not sure about the side effects like Carbon deposition etc... so please do an analysis before you use it!!
