Hi,

I tried a DIY install of LEDs in cabin light of my Santro last week-end. They are better/brighter than the 'stock' bulb.

1 Watt LEDs were sources from Om Electronics at SP Road.

All three LEDs are wired in series. (One with white base board costed 65 and green board Rs.80) I used a parallelly connected 56 and 33 ohms 1 Watt resistors as current limiter. I used the resistors, what I had with me. Ideally 22 Ohms 2 Watt would have been okay.

I have wrapped the stock bulb with insulation tape and kept installed in the holder as it is. So it doesn't glow but used for connecting the wires from LED circuit to holder for power.

LEDs are stuck to panel using double sided adhesive tapes.

This thread is useful. Thanks to you guys.
