I use Crystal Visions, and they are absolutly useless/dangerous on the highway at night. For City driving the car looks "cooler" though.

And I would love to get "Philips Rallyeye 85 watts H7 for low beam and 100 watts H1". If anybody knows where it is available in Bangalore, could you please PM me?

Now that i've used Diamond Vision before, this time for Crystal Vision's for the Lancer and i can assure everyone that the CV's are brighter and better than DV. So suggest u get this unless u want that bluish light.

just bought philips rally h1 and h7 bulbs for my optra, from AK traders mentioned previously, the cost is :

philips H1 rally : 220/pair
philips H7 rally : 420/pair
VAT @ 12.5% : 80
Total : 720/-

Boomshiva : Are you sure I can replace the bulbs without adding a relay?

Yup. 3 months now and no issues with my car, even over extended usage.

Hi JK,
Is there any wiring changes reqired for Santro? i find OE bulbs too insufficient. also is there any problem in using high wattage bulbs according to RTO rules? I don't want unnecessary scenes with local police fellas. i have heard long time back that these bulb upgrades are not allowed in cities and will be a problem if caught.

what is the OEM watteage of bulbs in new Santro Xings these days?
coz almost every new santro these days has the worst powerful headlights to blind the oncoming traffic!
i am noticing this for last few days that, say, 90% of blinding high beams are from new santros!
i guess they might be coming with 90/100 bulbs.
are my observations correct?

I use OE replcemnet bulbs. If you drive a lot, do get the fogs.
