There was a supermarket knocking out H4 50% better bulbs for £3.99 a pair today. But they were not branded. They do not call it rip off Britain for nothing. ![]() | |

But Palio has normal bulbs and i am finding it hard to adjust wit the yellow lights.. I am thinkin about shifting to HID kit... Might cost around $300 to get it ova here... 10K lite.

| hi all, first and foremost, here is me wishing u all a very happy and prosperous new year. well, what do i say? This is just the thread from which i needed some precious information. Guys, i have a new esteem vxi which i recently bought and am very pleased with the car and excited too. i love the headlamps and the fogs that come standard on the vxi. i would love to fit in white bulbs like the philips crystal vision. I know that i can fit in H4 55/60 watts crystal visions for my headlamps. Now what i would love to know is that i want a similar pair of bulbs for my fogs coz i keep them on along with my headlights for(ishtyle) so it would be great if someone could tell me what type of bulbs do i need for my fogs (i.e H1, H4, H7 etc......,) and secondly will i get these bulbs in white preferably of the same brand i.e philips crystal vision? coz i want to avoid a mismatch between the headlights and the fogs.I saw a few shops in milan subway who have stock of the crystal visions in H4, but i do not know if its genuine or fake. Viper, rudra sir, rtech and all u wonderful guys, please help me out on this. i am dying to go all white. P.S- Viper, it would be a great help if you could help me out with the availability of original crystal visions in mumbai. Cheers. |

| Heh viper, I am right now in goa on vaction, will be back by the 5th or so. Till that time could you please confirm what spec(ie H1, H3............. etc) bulbs(white) would fit the fogs on the esteem? Since you are passionate and a specialist in modding cars especially the esteems, i don't think it will be too much of a problem for you to get me the details. Just pm me the price of it and do let me know if both the fogs and the headlights are crystal visions. I will call you as soon as i come back to mumbai on the 5th. Till that time it would be a great help if you could settle my doubts and do the needful. Thanx anyways, Cheers! Last edited by prince85 : 1st January 2006 at 18:38. |

| Hello Folks. I have a Lancer and had been a little disappointed with the OE headlights on the BOM-PNQ Expressway. I first got the Philips Diamond Vision (Blue Light - 5300K) and installed them. Was a little disappointed - the light was Bluish - but not very bright - in fact it felt more GREY than Blue. Went out the next day and changed to Philips Vision Plus - These are regular (yellow) but the pack claimed 50% brighter and a longer throw (+20m) These are definitely the better choice. - Am extremely happy with these. The best part is that since they are still 55/60 Watts - I did not need a cut-out or any changes - just replaced the bulbs and I was done. Take it from a guy who's tried both - If you want you car to look cool then you might want the Crystal Vision / Diamond Vision but if you want brighter beams - then the Philips Vision Plus are the ones to go for. Hope this helps. Last edited by LancerEvo : 2nd January 2006 at 21:32. |
