| Senior - BHPian | Hey RTech.. Great review. Just wanted to know where the GTech pro is connected.. Do I see a wire going down from the unit on the windscreen? How much did you get the GTech for?

| Senior - BHPian | Great work,RTech.Pete must really be happy to find a very good rewarding review for the product he's come up with. Price certainly seems to be on the higher side which is the only hindrance for it to be used by every ECU controlled diesel car owner. PS: Is drifter planning to try on his CRDi ? it will be a Great review for all the umpteen Accent CRDi owners in our forum.

| Super-Admin | More on the powerbox. Late this evening. Empty roads. Me in the Vtec and Rtech in his Octavia. Perfect. We had a couple of "gunning" sessions, and the results were astounding. On an open empty stretch and in a 0 - 100 (or in the whereabouts), the Octavia was right on my tail. I just couldnt lose it (and even goofed up in an over-revv attempt). We had a good number of acceleration runs and the difference was a car length; negligible at others. But in a 2nd gear roll on, he thrashed me. There were some moments where Rtech would suddenly gun the Octavia while cruising and you could see the car leap forward instantenously. In acceleration runs, the whistle from the Octi turbo was to die for. Ask Rehaan, he was riding shotgun in my Vtec with the window down. The more I experience new age diesels...the more my awe. GTO

| Its amazing to see a heavy car like the Octavia compete neck to neck with a super light Vtec. The turbo sound in Octavia is blisss! I loooveee that sound.... i barely get to hear a little bit of it in my Endeavour but in the Octavia its loud and clear. Even in the Cdis, I love ripping my frnds E220 from 2500rpm when the turbo kicks in and the needle flies to the red line in no time...sounds amazing.Nothing to beat the instant smile a turbos surge can bring on ones face.

| Team-BHP Moderator ![]() | Yes, I was surprised at how close the Octi was to the Vtec from a standing start. roll on's were no competition with the superior torque pulling the Octi ahead before the Vtec could even get into it's powerband. There should be a statutory warning given with this box! It's friggin addictive!
