I think MBIL have been careful not to publicize this fact lest their customers think they are getting Tempo quality stuff. That is why its
coming as a surprise to all of us.
So.......lets see, Mercs body is painted by Telco and their engines are made by Bajaj Tempo. Wonder what else we are going to find out.

The car dealer will not create any problem as long as there is no warratny issue. If you are going to the dealership with a warranty issue it is definitely better you remove the box prior to going in,
