you know you are addicted to team-bhp when the tv is on, in the backdrop & on the mute(so that I can focus on the t-bhp site),& When i am served dinner at my bed,instead of the dining room,& when i am posting from my touch phone rather than a laptop, you can say i am addicted.

When you come out with a pounding head ache, but boots laptop, post the picture of the 'thing' you spotted in the wacky mod job thread, glance all the fresh threads and then take medicine and sleep.

Have the computer on all day to see what's on and say up late nights to just reply to threads faster than others. At the end i get to hear that cars are more important than anything else in life. I don't remember people's birthdays or telephone numbers but i remember a registration number and engine specs really well. I am told that i would be better off getting married to car by my girlfriend. I think to my self sometimes that its not a bad idea atleast i am off all the headache of trying to please someone and making that person Happy. Anyway come what may NOT going to stop being addictive to it.

14th Feb, My wife presented me a maisto and new ray car models. I havent bought her a gift as on 2:08 am. She has crashed and I came online to search for Gift ideas and here I am on Team-Bhp.com.

You are guessing right, havent seen a single page I googled regarding gifts for wife.

I love this website ! since my wife isnt a member, I can say more than my wife.

If the Team-bhp website crashed over nite am sure few thousand Indian men will goto bed by 10 pm.

I can say I am on the extreme end!

To state the extremes from atleast past 3 days,
a. I am hurting my bladder,
b. suffering from gastro issues,
c. forgot my sleeping patterns
d. do not remember how I look like, but can see my tummy growing
e. I have not stepped out of my front door from 3 days
f. my comp's bandwidth meter says I have done about 3gb in 3 days :-O

Other than the normal routines like,
1. brushing teeth (earlier it used to be newspaper),
2. having meals in front of the comp,
3. friends / relatives look like aliens to me,
4. I do not get offline until the last minute I step out of home

yes, i am addicted. this is the ONLY forum where i am a member. i never used those social websites like facebook, twitter etc. but daily i browse through tbhp for new posts. in any conversation about automobiles, i refer tbhp and go on explaining what all things are there. i am a newbie(its just one year since i got a car), but all my friends ask me to get my opinion about theirs cars, or about new cars launched etc. i pose like an expert and copy the reviews posted here

Amazing posts

These days when ever someone calls me over the weekends, I say I was busy meeting people I never knew. Then I explain about teambhp, and sometimes see blank faces, then decide..ok. No point going on here. But then, there are some who also start liking it and log on to the website to check it out

I also use it when bargaining when I have to buy a car or accessories, when I tell them I am part of a huge online auto forum, so dont try to cheat me buster, there are 50K people giving me opinions on the fair prices. If you dont belive me check the stickers on the car and go see the website yourself

Thirdly, my wife did not know initially, what teambhp was. So, during the initial days after our marriage, she was wondering what I was doing on the laptop silently everyday and just one similar page. Manytimes, when she asked me to do some task on some other topics on the net, i used to keep toggling between the bhp site

She actually assumed that I was addicted to some porn site or some adult chat site, and man when she came to know what I was onto and I introduced here to the website, she was like, how can one spend so much time on just cars

Much later, she once told me, that I actually would have felt ou were slightly normal if you were on a porn site rather than chatting with a bunch of other guys.

But after a few BHP trips, she is also one fo the biggest fans now

Amen to that! I do EXACTLY the same. TV in the background on mute and i will be browsing T-BHP site reading several threads. Of course once something good on Discovery Turbo comes on then i wish i had twins. One to watch TV and one for Team BHP!

I noticed something strange yesterday. After joining Team-BHP, I have been following the 2 smiley restriction rule even in my personal email to friends !

Other than this, the usual tell tale signs of addiction are all there:
- Putting TV on mute while browsing Team-BHP
- Logging into the site every morning
- Checking to see if someone spotted my car
- The Hyundai service advisers take special care of my car (because of the Team-BHP stickers)
- My colleagues can't understand why I keep reading posts from people I have never met
- They find it very strange when I say hello to total strangers (fellow BHPians with Team-BHP stickers on their cars) on the road

Addicted to Team-BHP, you bet !
