Kick *** Setup... - Team-BHP

im planning to mod up my RS by this summer.a well modded car calls for a good ICE setup and thats exactly why im here.i already have in mind what i want.if any one can ad anything to this would be of great help.please dont post something complicated here.

head unit is either p1Y/alpine 9830
front speakers jbl 606 most probably ( unless i find something better)
rear speakers jbl 606/936.dont want the 636 because they suck.
amp not really sure still looking around.i need 2 4 chan amps.one two power speakers and the other two power to subs.
Sub was wondering what would be better.
a) one 15 inch sub
b) two 12 inch subs
c) one tube one sub
d) two tubes.

basically wanta lot of bass.i can spend upto 60 on the setup not a little more as im spending about 50 on alloys and tyres and another 50 on performance.
roll in the ideas.

HU: Alpine 9853 or 9855. If you cant afford these look athe 9847 or 9856. 15K

Speakers: Infinity/Alpine/Boston/Focal/Hertz: 12K for 4. say Infinity 6010 (7K) for components in the front and Infinity 5012i (5K) for coax in the rear.

Amps: Alpine/JBL/Audison/: 15K for a a sub and 4 ch amp say the Pioneer 6100 for 7K for the subs and an JBL 60.4 for 9K for the front and rear.

Subs: JBL/Alpine/Infinity: 15K on 2 12" and a box. JBL 1200T sell for 6.5K each with tube.

Wires: 4K on RCA and 2K on speaker wires. Monster interlink Jr for the RCA and Belden for speaker.

Install: 3K on power block and fuses and 2K on labour

15+12+15+15+6+5 = 68K.

we usually tend to go a bit over budget. :-)

here it is
alpine 9855. jbl 606 in the front and back. JBL 60.4
all that plus 2 12 inch subs and a bass tube. powered by an audison 5 chan amp.forgot the model no.

getting this done this weekend so if anyone can think of something better do let me know ASAP.
howz hertz i hear its good but havent really heard it.

With the audison amp will u be able to stay in ur budget of 60K as u are also chossing a high end HU 9855...
Or have u streched ur budget...

heheh i have stretched my budget buttt getting most of it at huge discounts.
the 606 2 sets for 10 k total. the 60.4 for 7.5k.getting the subs for 8k.the tube for 6k
and the alpine and audison....lol if i giv out the price im getting it at i will get atleast 10 pm's tom asking where im gettin my stuff from.lets just say im gettin it for almost half the price.at an absolute steal

2.5k for wires and 1.5 for installation.makes that a grand total of about 105 including the amp.

Q: what you mean 2 subs for 8K are they without boxes? is the tube with a driver or without. I am confused as to how many sub drivers you are using 2 or 3?

lancer...i really would love to know where you are getting these prices. I dont think it is polite not to share this information if it a one of deal we'll understand.

Sorry, Dubai is out of bounds for most here. I was thinking you had a local source that no one knew and we being a siblinghood i figured we could all benefit.

a subwoofer is usually a system comprsing of a driver (the woofer), a box, and sometimes an amp and a crossover. when you said 2 12" subs and a bas tube it confused me.

i have delayed the purchase of the above equipment because i want to check out the hertz collection.is there any place in bombay where i will find hertz.but tell me by wed latest because then ill have to get the stuff picked up.

Are u sure ??? Bcoz i think JB and gunman havent selected a dealer as yet .. They should be there in the next month or so .. Or are the stuff that u are talking about , illegal imported to the country thru dubai , singapore etc ???
