Pc Woofers In Car!!!!???? - Team-BHP

HEY! I AM ANKUSH AND NEW TO THIS SITE.

I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO GET A CREATIVE 2.1 WOOFERS INSTALLED IN MY MARUTI 800. BOTH OF THEM HAVE THE SAME BATTERY VOLTAGE (12V APPROX). I WANT TO ASK THAT WILL THIS AFFECT MY CAR BATTERY OR MY WOOFERS?

ALSO WILL 5.1 BE A BETTER OPTION IF THEY DONT DAMAGE MY CAR BATTERY?

PLZ GURU LOG HELP ME YAAR

I AM IN GREAT NEED AS I HAVE LOST MY EARLIER SYSTEM.

Hi and welcome to this part of the forum.

12V approx? In my professional opinion this will not sound good in your car.

That said, please read the rules and do not use more than one smiley. thanks.

Hi Ankush, welcome to the forum but posting in all caps is also not very desirable.

Anyway, about your problem, why don't you get proper car speakers? And no speaker will affect your battery.

What's Creative 2.1 woofers?

Most multimedia speakers and home sub-sat systems have compromised sound as it is. Get car speakers.

new to this site so didnt knew the rulez...

yaar i dont have the money to get new head and good speakers so i will be attaching it to the discman..

i will have to get it out of my own pocket money.....as my parents are not allowing me to get a new system

Coolaks... without going into the details of how and why, yes you can install your PC speakers in your car. But know that they are designed for indoors use and will not last long in the automotive environment what with the vibrations and the intense Delhi heat.

My friend tried it in his matiz and they were ok for 3 months. After that they got partially burnt(dont know why and how) and the sound was blurring even at low volume..

pc speakers are built to a price point. that means usng foam surrounds that are quckly eaten by the sun and UV rays. use car speakers even the cheaper ones wil last longer.
