IF grey thing is ok with him he can get a decent Pio HU and a Pio amp

Pio 6100 can be bought at 7k and hence he can get a 6K HU. But if its one with bill, Sony HU And Sony 504z amp! or Blau HU (starts from 4.5k B&W) with either a Sony or Pio amp.

He can get the Pioneer 5850 HU and the Pioneer Premier 6150F amp. For a lil bit more he can get the 6850 HU...

Alternatively, Alpine 9843 HU (single preout, do no fader) and Alpine 240 amp. But this will stretch it to 20k approx.

Pioneer 5850 HU 8k ? + the Pioneer Premier 6150F amp 7k? .
6850 on grey costs 9.2k here.

If you have contacts at Skoda service/sales you can get 9843 for cheaper rates as many customers dump that HU. There was a 9843 on sale here at TBHP for 6k

I heard that Pioneer 6850 HU panel opens when we turn the engine off even in a traffic signal, the HU panel opens out even if we don’t want to change the CD playing. This sounds disgusting. Some one please let me know if this is the case.

If yes, i would prefere Pioneer 5850 to 6850.

This 'disgusting' feature can be disabled from the main function menu.

it nots all that bad.......yeah by initial setting it does open up when u switch of the ignition.....but then in 10 sec it goes back (so u can either detach it from the panel or let it there).....absolutely no pangas......it so much of ease..........but thats something u don't want u can switch of this auto open up feature ....from the setup menu....

B&W package @ 13k. Sony/Pio HU + Sony Amp.

Sony XM554ZR (55W X4 @4ohm) @ Rs.5990
Pioneer DEH 3850MP @ Rs 7950
Sony CDX-GT250S (has two preout and front Aux-in) @ Rs.7990

Maybe the DEH2850 would be cheaper. I remember someone posting abt a Blau HU priced at 4.5k B&W. So maybe he needs to check a Blau dealer for the pricing.

Fader: Fades sound from Front to Back and vice versa. Actually the Left/Right "balance" control is also technically a fader as it fades sound from left to right and vice versa.
