Default ICE Help For My 1996 Maruti 800

Hey Guys,

Me planning to get a ICE setup very soon and need your help,I am mentioning my questions in points below.

1 : Head Unit is a JVC = Cost:Rs:4900/- (MP3,FM n et all)
2 : Pioneer TSA-6980 6 Inch x 9 Inch 4-way Car Speakers (Rear)
3 : SONY Xplod 4" Speakers (Front)

Now my question is. Is this the right setup for my car? And is it really essential for me to get the front speakers installed as i feel according to me the system should play fine with the Pioneer's that i have chosen as they are 4 way.Navin, please comment on this.

Regards,
Niki.

its looks fine If you can, get good boxes for those 6x9. Dont get those Pio tweeters in case your dealer recommends. Those 6x9 are trebble happy and they should make you happy with enough bass(in a box setup) and trebble.

if you have a bigger budget we can give you more recommendations.

Since my inputs was called for, I'd like to see you have better front speakers. There are some that are quite affordable. JBL and Blaupunkt both have better balanced speakers than Sony for about the same price. Take a listen.

JBL CS series and Blau GTO series are VFM lines. Either I think will meet or beat the Sony Xlpod speakers at the same price.

Sony's Xplod line so far has disappointed me.

R u going to put the front speakers in the door panel or under the dash?
I don't quite know about the 1996 M800.... but in my 2002 M800... i've put in 100W JVC speakers in the front n they're mounted under the dash...
