| 70K wow now you'll have every "expert" chiming in. here are my 2 paisa worth.... HU: Clarion, Pio, (I omited the Alpines becuase they dropped the XO controls on the 2006 models) budget 20K Amps:budget 20K Speakers: Infinity, Polk momo, Hertz, Alpine Type R/X (the better stuff they have 4-5 lines) 15K for 2 pairs Subs: Hertz, JBL or Alpine type R. 10K for a nice 12" (ID and alpine Type X are more expensive) wires and install: 5K. |

| Guys, Sorry for butting in. Heard a bazooka sub in a Swift the other day, added real depth to the sound, I think for the Innova a sealed sub (tube or whatever it is called) will suit usage and fitment, due to the small amount of boot space. Can anyone recommend one for a Innova, also what amp. Thanks |

| Mugen.... .. Here are a few links... I think the sub issue has been dealt with extensively in these threads... However this largely depends on the kind of music you listen to. http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/car-en...ghlight=Innova http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/car-en...ghlight=Innova http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/car-en...ghlight=Innova http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/car-en...ghlight=Innova http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/car-en...ghlight=Innova Last edited by kb100 : 7th September 2006 at 11:11. |

| @ 70k, why not a DVD HU? comeon its an big car. 2 good screens wont cost that much! Anyway, how abt a good HU with 3 preamp out(10-20k) fed to a good 4 channel amp (13k) and one mono amp (13k). Rest for speakers + install. If you gonna drive and really enjoy music, why not a 10inch sub under one of the front seat and a 12incher at the boot? |

Gunbir's Innova Install is the first one... where they have done what JK is suggesting... one sub under the seat and one behind etc.. Between the two you will have a faily decent understanding of the number of drivers you need... The brand of speakers will depend largely on the kind of music you listen to and the priority - SQ or SPL...

the 8650 can also operate the ipod must the interface is very slow and only 8 character are displayed and it is a very painfull process trust me i had a 9450 earlier which has the same process like 8650 man it was very bad...also to connect the aux in u will have to buy a aux in for the 8650... one more thing the above ipod interface does not support the vdo it only play audio if u wanna connect the vdo you can use the aux in hu and the lcd screen both directly from the ipod but the controll will be from the ipod not the hu.... Listen to few brands then decide.....like suggested by others .... evaluvate the cost and sound factor all the brands are good..... amps subs first you have to tell us the following 1) what type of music u listen 2) how many passager travel with u or u travel alone 3) u want big bass or just bass to intergrate with the music to make it over all smooth.. 4) for subs where do u wanna install like ....boot or under the seat gunbir style for wiring again both are good brand but cost comes into picture buy which you thing is worth it....for eg the audison has three ranges choose which u like.... first -> entry level ok ok but can work for 80 % junta (.8k) best ->mid level very good 18 % junta(1.5K) sonus -> the very best hardcore stuff 2% junta...(5k) ![]() one thing I wanna add here do a AXB test on the first and the best to choose in between the two......

| This is my favourite budget. ok....here i go He should go for video based system as Jk and LBM has advised and install one necvox lcd screen, roof mounted,,connect it with i-pod and HU's aux-in to i-pod,even if he has to operate video from i-pod.We dont fiddle too much with movies. 1.Pioneer HU 10-15k 2.Asusual compo for front and coax for rear 20k [has to be from infinty kappa,Hertz, polk momo] 3.One 4ch+one 1ch amplifier 25k 4.12 sub in well-built ported box as sealed box in such a big car wont do much justice.-10k [JBL,Hertz] 5.Audison wiring |

| @JK, Most Of The Time Only 2 Persons In The Car So I Have Decided Not To Install The DVD HU Or Screen. @Navinji, Have Gone Through The Viper's Thread. @LBM, 1) I Listen Rock, Hip Hop, Hindi Remixes Most Of The Time. 2) As Above. 3) Definately Big Baas. 4) From Where Can I Get More Baas ? Boot Or Under Seat ? I Want Some Space In Boot So If You Suggest 2 Subs Then One Will Go Under The Seat. For How Much Do You Get 8850 ? I Want To Play Only Audio From Ipod. Cheers, Mugen_Power. |
