Smile Music System for Viva CRDI

Can you please suggest a good music system ( I like a lot of bass & treble) in my music within a budget between 15K-18K for a new viva crdi ( will be purchasing by end of this month)

I already have a 6" Pioneer Sub woofer, 222 Sony ( 2 channel Amp), Pioneer Tweeters removed from my old car.

I would like to make a statement not just within the car but outside the car as well

So here is how the package looks like, please suggest the ones that as question marks:

1.) Head Unit: ?????

2. ) Tweeters: Do you suggest that it should be used???

3) Rear Speakers: ????

4.) Front Speakers: Required????

5.) Woofer:Model described above is sufficient or requires upgrade to go with HU and REAR SPEAKERS

6.) AMP: Model described above is sufficient or requires upgrade to go with HU and REAR SPEAKERS

Look forward to your opinions

Avinash

6" diameter or radius? Pioneer made a 6" sub?

Some recommendations:

1.) Head Unit: Pioneer basic 3 pre-out HU maybe 7k

2. ) Tweeters: Nope, unless they came as a part of your component set.

3) Rear Speakers: Some 6" coaxial speaker for about 2-2.5k

4.) Front Speakers: Component set, 5.25", around 4-5k.

5.) Woofer: Should be good.

6.) AMP: Use the 222 to just drive the sub.

Totally <15k.

Cool

Thanks folks for your inputs!

Btw, i am not a techie in these matters, so it would greatly help if you can suggest the tech specs along with brand/model names so that i can take a decision

please don't forget my statement

!!!!!!I would like to make a statement not just within the car but outside the car as well !!!!!!!!

-it means more than the music system itself and suggest the brand that can give a punch in your head

Cheers and thanks to all !

Mobike008

You will find suggestions more forthcoming if you can state a BUDGET.

How much are you willing to spend???

Mr Mobike, Car audio is not for others to hear. Enjoy it for yourself.

If you're very much on showing it off, then just get any HU and front tweeters. But make sure you have 3 Subs and put it in a big ported box. And power it using 3 fake Alpine amps. And I've heard about some JBL monoblock amps being sold without any warranty for 6.5k. Get 2 of those and power all the 3 using it. You dont have to get any speakers. It will make enoug chinchin boom boom to wake up your whole neighbourhood.

If you want to make a statement (might not be very musical) here's another option...

HU: 6K
Amp: Sony 554 3K
Pio 306C sub with MDF baffle board: 4K
pair of 5" coax 3K
---------------
16K

use left overs from old system. tweeters, 222amp and 6" sub?

stick Pio 306C sub in rear deck power with 552 amp bridged
stick 6" sub under passenger seat power with Sony 222
install 5" coax in front power with HU
stick TS20 with crosssover in rear deck power from HU

306C will given you Bass (lots of it)
TS20 will give you treble (lots of it)
5" coax might give you something worth listening to if you can hear it over the Bass and the Treble

You are right LBM, a ported or 4th order bandpass box might be better considering his budget in which case teh 306F might be a better option. But he wants the system to "make a statement"!

Thanks for the feedback, but it still is a lot of tech jargon.

navin, can you please help and summarize the total package of the music system indicating the brand name and model number so that I can decide.
