Having some problem with ICE

Hi guys,

Its since yesterday that i am facing few problems with my audio..

I have two amps JBL601.1 and a JBL 75.4 and HU pio 7750. When song is played (low/high volume), the head unit switches off and then immediately get switched on. T

Any suggestions??

it might be the power wiring of the hu gone lose... or the harness fitted has a loose connection....

one thing more check does the amp swtich off when the hu goes off....

does the sound also stop when the hu goes off....

exactly what happened some days back while driving to work. was listening to "beedi jalaile" (hehe...J/k) at high volume, just to realize that on a low note, HU power went off and again came back. it happened thrice on different occasions, when finally i tried swtiching to FM while the HU went off....oops! it stopped reading the CD (changer). tried everything i could but NO. i am going to my installer right now (aaj ka sunday bhi gaya).

i also suspect the power wiring..

I'll check if the amp switches off... but then what do we understand, if the amp does or does not switch off.

Ya the sound does stop when hu goes off.

if the sound goes then no need to check the amp....as the main source is getting stop which is the hu....I think u must go to the installer and get the wiring check behind the HU it might be the culprit......

I have asked it before that the amp switch off or the sound stops because it might the hu screen had some problem....but as u said the sound stop then it might be the harness or the connector which is connected to the HU....check it out by your installer....

LBM,when HU will switch off ofcourse sound will also not come from speakers.
And most probably amp will also switch off with HU.

I asked because it can be the Hu display only...amit did not said before hand that the sound stop.....

Hey Amit, Hope this helps...

Initially at times when music played at high volume, and there be a big bass punch, my HU power would momentarily go off and come back in a second.... later on i found out it was due to weak battery to amp wiring. The amp load got so high, it drew in more current or something, and shut the hu off. so then on, i changed my batter-to-amp wire to a good thicker wire, and now never faced that problem again. It is sometimes also related to the RC Cords.

I suggest u get ur RC Cords and battery-amp wiring checked again.

simple solution that helped me....my installer simply pushed "reset" button on my HU and voila....CD started getting read!
