I.C.E for santro xing

hello ppl


i recently bought a santo xing....he he its 1 week old now....now i want a decent I.C.E for now and soon am gonna upgrade it

ok now with the thing the santro came wit.....

my unkle opted for a pioneer cassette player ......donno y but along with that he got a pioneer cd changer in xchange for the mp3 the santro came with.......

next there are ****ty 4" pioneer spkrs in the front and none in the back

next i got a pair of blaupunkt tx 369.1........donno how good these are but have them with me.......

now my q is how good is this blaupunkt tx 369.1 ? now my front i am thinking of goin in for jbl components ........ but donno wether the cassette player can take it.........

next in a few months i am thinkin of puttin a cs60.2 amp......and may be go in for a good 10" sub so i need ur help on this guys......

my main thing now is are the blaupunkt speakers worth using?

speed, blaupunkt velocity series are not bad at all. Their GTO series is bested however by other brands (not Sony or Pioneer).

If you are planning on getting a sub why use 6x9s in the rear? I'd suggest using a set of 4 4-5" speakers in the front and rear and letting the sub handle the bass.

i thought about tht but the thing is i am having thse speakers with me and i wanted to know wether i can use them.......and the sub and the amp will not be installed now but a little later......

i was wondering of goin in for the 5.25" jbl components in the front.......but with these blaup in the back will the speakers match

i am looking for more resolution in this ice not punch as i want clarity.......the rear will be soon upgraded to polk which my aunt is gettin from the u.s

now i want to know are these the ones navin sir u are talking about as thes are not the velocity or the gt series.......pls give me some reviews about these spkrs

I have not been happy with these Blaupunkts yet since they are free use them.

Since you already have the 6x9 you will have to invest in a MDF rear deck to fit them in. THey will not fit in the rear speaker pods provided by Hyundai.

The components in the front should give you the "clarity" you desire.

navin, (for the rear speaker) do you think boxes would be better or the mdf tray would be better for a hatchback ? i mean sound-wise.

Strange, in my opinion, these are amongst the best 6x9s that I like at or around the budget. And certainly the best 6x9 Blau makes under 5k. It's priced at 3990 I think. Also, I think it's an older product but still retained by Blau because of popularity.

Would depend on the car, esteem_lover.

For a sedan, there is no choice but to use the parcel tray. If you have a hatchback without a parcel tray, you could use boxes, which will be better, but they should be placed such that they are not obstructed.

In most cases fullranges are ok if not boxed. they are designed to work in such an installation. As far as subs go I have prefered boxed subs. your tastes might differ.
