It has a provision for original JBL neon tubes. Ask your dealer to sell you some. Cheers.

1000 bucks a tube I think. Though we don't have them anymore, but many many many were sold (with amplifiers) in Bangalore to dealers and sometimes we even gave them free. Check with your JBL guy.

If the out for the tube on the JBL amp is 12 volts (which it should be), one could use an aftermarket neon that has it's own transformer.

The advantage (or disadvantage) of using the outlet on the amp to power the tube must be that the tube would switch on and off with the amp.

Well, one should shove in a neon tube into the hole (wash those minds people) and keep the 12V running from the ignition.

i still have some ???s in my head....

1. are these JBL 'tubes' any different from the streetglow variety ?!
2. can we connect other branded tubes to the JBL amp ? B&T is talking about other tubes with transformers...can someone plz throw some light on that !?
3. how else are these connected usually (if not from the amp) ?!
4. how long can these run ?! are there standard lengths !?
5. i would love to outline my cabin top (inside...just an idea) with a blue tube/wire...is this a possiblilty !?

Neon tubes are lights, basically that typically run on 12V dc, so that they can be run off your car battery.
They have transformers internally to create the kind of electricity they need (like a tubelight choke, for example)

Any 12V neon tube, pipe, flexilight can be used. Regardless of brand.
