| Hi guys, i am planning to ICE my estilo and i am on a shoestring budget. needed to keep the expense to 10000+/- searching through this section, i think that a pioneer headunit (3 preouts) and jbl front and rear speakers will maybe fit my budget (loan can be arranged from pops if the budget rises ). can i get some suggestions. am from kochi. i like to hear the vocals clear. bass and treble comes next. am planning to stall the sub for now. will i need an amp for this setup? |

I would rather suggest a 2 Pre out 5950 which will be around 7.5k approx and JB speakers will take the total up to 15k approx. | |

Infractions: 0/1 (4) | Pioneer 4950 & 5950 comes with 3preouts. The prices start below 5k. Mate it to JBL 607 components in front. Leave the setup as this for now. When you get some more dough, get JBL 937 ovals for the rear and you are SET. You may also need to strengthen/fix your parcel shelf using MDF then. It would better to run these speakers from an amp. For example, JBL 75.4 etc.. But that will cost more than 10k just for the amp itself. So, that can be kept as a later upgrade. Get in touch with Automate at byepass. They are the authorised dealers for JBL.

| Senior - BHPian | Like Zak said, I'd also do it in 2 stages if the current budget is 10K. HU + fronts now. Rears next. If you're doing everything now, HU: Pio 4950: 5K Fronts: JBL GTO 607c (6.5" 2-way comps): 6500/- OR GTO 507c (5.25" 2-way comps): 5500/- (Depending on what the Estilo takes in front). If its like the Wagon R, you'll be able to get only 4" co-axes in front. Then it would be the GTO 427: 2700/-. Rears: Since you have no sub, get 6x9s. JBL GTO937: 4900/- Unless you have definite plans for an amp and sub later, you can settle for 2 pre-outs in the HU. If you're not at all likely to go for amps and subs, one pre-out will do. @Manikjeet, what size does the Estilo take in front? Is the stock provision on the dash or on the doors? Does it have stock provision for speakers in back?

Infractions: 0/1 (4) | Estilo has speaker provision on doors. Even the rear doors have provision for speakers. I am not aware of the size.

| thanks a ton for all your advice, guys. i have seen you guys persuading a 10k budget guy to finalize a 20k ICE. thats why i mentioned a 10k budget first. i think JBL GTO607c (6.5" 2-way comps) will fit in the front stock location (it is 6") and GTO607c is packaged with 2 metal adapters which can be installed in 6", 6-1/2", and 6-3/4" openings according to the manual. about the headunit, there is still confusion. pioneer 7950 is a HU where you can plug in the USB rite. it is around 10k in grey. is it worth it? speedzak and hydra@ am planning to do the installation by a friend who works at automate. |

![]() the Pio 7950 is USB "ready". That means it is ready, waiting for you to plug-in that 4K connector cord (CD-UB100) that you'll need for connecting a USB drive. No connector = no USB Otherwise it is a good HU. I'd get the 6950 for about 2K less (unless you plan to buy the ISB Adapter).

Otherwise it is a good HU. I'd get the 6950 for about 2K less (unless you plan to buy the ISB Adapter).
