Going to Norwich for a Week, What ICE to buy? - Team-BHP

Team,

Me back again, I am going to UK (Norwich) next month for a week, Want to pickup a monoblock amp and Co-axials for my alto, I already have a sony 4 ch.amp, Pio 6*9 speakers, Pio Sub and Pio 6850,

Did a search in ebay and interestingly it came up with a lot of 'Budget' Options, But I have not heard the names at all.

What to guys recomend? Also can soemone tell me where to buy from if you have been there before?

I don't know if electronics in the UK are cheaper than India. I've never found any real bargains there.

? The ones that I saw on ebay were Pyle, vibe, etc.

UK is as expensive, if not more as far as electronics are concerned.
Cheapest electronics(on the street, not online) I have seen is HK.

You will find electronics cheaper in India than UK.
Hong Kong, which was a UK colony till recently has the cheapest electronics stuff I have seen

I think stuff like amplifiers etc are cheaper in UK. JBL GTO75.4 for example. India - 13K

the stuff in UK is expensive.....recently my friend inquired about the P-80 in UK he got a 29k quote....but it is available in dubai for a little more than half the price....so check the prices locally before buying from there....

Electronics best bought in HK / Spore / Dubai as pointed out by the members. The US for obvious reasons also has bargains.

Your current stuff is better than Pyle / Vibe etc. Those can be had for 1/4th the cost here in Asia.

If your looking to save money buy locally.

What/Where can one expect to buy cheapest from Dubai in terms of ICE or any exterior mods - say Neons, strobes or for that matter the instrument cluster for an OHC?

Try to get this underseat subwoofer from Alpine - it fits under the seat and you can still have your boot space in the Alto! Its not available in India (as far as I know and I have checked with a couple of Alpine dealers in Bangalore)

@Knight Rider: Don't even think about pyle, most of the fake pio sounds better. They have extremely inflated RMS figures and products don't come anywhere close to chruning out those figures.
If you looking for JBL, then buy in India.
If you want a deal for a product that does not sell here or sells for a high price, look for Rockford Fosgate, Kicker etc.
RF amps are really good, especially the power series amps are beasts.

Nah, I just wanted to know what can I expect to buy from DBX cuz I have family there who visits every month.
Just want inputs that where one must go to in Dubai.

Buy alcohol from the Duty Free [:-)] and check out the Pioneer showroom!
