am planning to buy ICE for Swift & have decided on these components:
budget is 15k. (With B& W)

HU: Undecided!
CD+MP3+wud definitely lik it to hav the ability to play music from my USB stick tho..suggestions?

REAR SPEAKERS: JBL GTO937
(will they sound ok if i install them in the Rear door instead of a tray? )

FRONT SPEAKERS: JBL 607.
Now these are component speakers; what i would like is a one-piece speaker that wud sound as good and within the same price range.Any suggestions??

And lastly & MOST importantly, a reliable dealer in Pitampura area for buying this stuff!

Since you are tight on budget;

HU: JVC without B & W: 3600;
JBL 937: without B & W : 2600;
JBL 607 : with B & W : 5500 (app); without B & W no idea....
amp: ???? (you would be requiring a decent 4 channel to get the proper sound effect off your JBLs)
wiring:????
total : ----> ??????

you cant have your 6X9's fitted in your rear stock location.

Components = Speaker + tweeter
607 With bill and warranty = 6000 approx
HU - JVC HU CD/MP3/USB = 6K approx(Grey)

For 15 K you can go for
1. 6 1/2" JBL three way = 3000(grey) 3500 B&W
2. 6x9 Coax in rear = 3500(grey) 4500 B&W
3. 7K HU
4. 1K wiring

Total = 15000
Do not try to fit in an amp in the whole thing unless you want to go 20K

If you are willing for that GTO607 components = 6K(Bill and warranty) + coax in rear + HU +amp = 18-20K

I agree here if 15k is the budget leave the sub option for a while or increase your budget.......

A "one piece" speaker would be the GTO637. It will not be as good as a component. And it will cost less. Why not a component set?

sam, am pretty serious, i went to a car accessory wallah a few days back to get my BIL's ICE done....you wont believe, us din ka rate was:

Pio 307DVC: 2750
JBL 937 : 2600 (i recommended him JBL against Sony due to obvious reasons)
JVC HU: 3600
TS-20 (local):550
Desi 4 Channel Alpine: 2950

Lucky enough; We picked up all the stuff at the above prices and he's a happy man now!! (though tells me sometimes ki speaker mein sony wala dum nahin hai jiju LOL!)

SAM these guys may be stocking JBL; none of the above have good installers; I've tried each one of those!!

I went to Shine car once to get a patch of wire redone, the guy saw the cap in my car and asked yeh kya hota hai; another guy replied "yeh stereo mein current batata hai (my cap has a digital display)" and he was like why didn't you put in front then, I replied its big & theres no space in front thats why and moreover, I dont need to check current daily.

come on KP, am not a nubie to an extent that I cant judge b/w local and genuine.i know the guy for last 15 years, he's like friend.... I go there very often to get others' cars ICED (dhoomchik) or for my NON-ICE needs.
the rates for the ICE are for the particular day though!

LBM, dare not compare JBL and Sony; If they were even near I wd've changed my avatar to Sony.

You know, all these dhoomchik guyz they can't understand, for them SONY IS WORLD. (even I was one of them till i came across TBHP-& planning to stay here till I convince myself to upgarde to steg and IDs ) .
