most prices are good by ebay standards; i'm sure they are NOT in-store prices.

These are not from ebay they have been bought by a friend from a store so they cannot be fake ...
What about the rear speakers now and damping ???

Wow! Thanks guys!

Maybe some years down the line, a greying B&T will have a B&T line of speakers. Nice to know that I have some customers already lined up.

Thanks again!

Ajay

I won't mind being 2nd in the line... provided you promise reasonable prices I had checked with a few Indian high end brands regarding home theater speakers (like Sonodyne, Lithos, Sanen) but I was (unpleasantly!) surprised to know that their prices were not far from that of similar systems with MNC badges.

I dont know if Sanen is making speakers anymore but he is making a nice subwoofer box. Another local brand that might be resonable is Norge. They use TC series Vifa drivers.

No no Sam Bhai the bass will be so much it will give trouble to the people who will come close to the same...like in the sony tv ad when the boy opens the window of the car and the cop is pushed back with the sound wave created by the SONY sound system.

If the cop flies back just by opening the door, I wonder how people sitting inside survived when it was closed!

Yes, that was in the list and so were Cadence, Torvin & Pulz also. But I lost interest due to before said reasons. Probably I am expecting too much! And in case I convince myself that there is no better option but to shell out some serious money, I will surely reconsider them.
