I had done work on 8008 in collage, we had to do the programing in assembly language it was fun and it had 7 segment LED display in 16 hex language.

a good mono would cost around 10-12k for pio 510, jbl cs 300.1, jbl gto 301.1. for 10-12k, i would suggest the jbl gto 75.4. i think it is the best amp in this price range.

jbl cs and the gto mono will churn out 200w rms x 4 ohms and around 300w rms x 2 ohms. the jbl gto 75.4 will give around 290w rms with 2 channels bridged. he still has 2 channels to drive the speakers.

cheers

going by the RMS figures etc, its very common to arrive at this conclusion.

But the reality would be quite different, as navin indicated during my early days on this forum.....

"A 10K-13K amplifier to run 3K subs??"

That time I couldnt understand, now I can

If you take the GB and TB measures as per your manufacturer (a.k.a Standard bytes), it is 1000MB=1GB and 1000GB=1TB (Powers of 10)

However, if you take the OS point of view (Binary bytes), it is 1024MB=1GB and 1024 GB=1TB (Powers of 2).

I see that you've mixed up both of them there, since you are referring to Standard bytes first and switching to Binary bytes later
can you point where i mixed up? cant see ok i can see now. you referring to my 40+30 gb? itna toh chalta hai yaar :-)

1024GB=1TB is only for RAM (and OS recognition)

For hard disks (Industry and manufacturer standard) it is 1000GB=1TB.

So LBM needs another 70GB more. As I said before, it is alright as long as it is not affecting any of our major discussions.
