My opinion is to learn about these settings next time you go to Driven and meet Gunbir. It'll be a bit hard to understand everything by just reading the posts here.

We need to know what car You're using and also want to more details on your HU. Settings described by LBM has to be done in the HU. Your current setting is something very much in the opposite direction of the sunrise. If You're going to run these settings for long, chances are good of you blowing some good equipment soon.

Also the above HU is have 2 preout that is front and rear and no Sub control from the HU.

But there is one feature in the Above HU that is FIE (front image enhancer) which when enabled the rear channel becomes LPF with which you can choose freq from 250 hz 160 hz and 100 hz. But there is no slope control for the same and then the fader function will also be lost.

I think it is the KEH-P5000 not the MEH-P5000. But why a cassette player in this day an age.
Pioneer KEH-P5000 Radio Cassette removable face only!! on eBay Pioneer, Cassette Players, In-Car Entertainment GPS, Cars, Parts Vehicles (item 230162121405 end time 22-Aug-07 16:25:03 BST)

or CDS P5000 but that is a spectrum analyser
Pioneer CDS-P5000 CD Player Specs - DealTime

or maybe just maybe is it the DVS P5000!
Pioneer DVH-P5000 bilstereo - prissammenligning
Pioneer DVHP5000 : Read reviews and compare prices at Ciao.co.uk

or the DEH-P5000 (you wont believe this LBM but I got this link by taking an educaed guess of the model number - replaced the K for cassette in "KEH" with D for Disc)

I also found the KEH-P5000 but got this result...

Auto Radio / Cassette Pioneer Keh-p5000 Marca : PIONEER -

But I though it would be quite old, and the above HU might not have any preout.

And I think it is a Double din. But let us wait for M4ur to confirm.

but a Mini Disc player in this day and age? I suspected that the player be a CD player, hence the DEH 5000.

Oh my mistake....I was a little occupied...so the error. Navin Ji is right I missed by a long shot but here is the correct one..

Special Fit CD Players - FH-P5000MP

It has three preout but the control of this HU is pathetic...even I got confused. But one can control the sub from the HU itself that i am sure...

Oh! That's a good job LBM. :clap
It seems MU4GR8 is busy elsewhere while our own Pio paaji is doing all he can to get the bass issue sorted out.

He can also try putting everything off/0 level in the HU and while playing a track of choice, he can set each and every setting by increasing/decreasing it. First, he should set everything else before getting into EQ settings.
I think he should also check his HPF and set it to 80 or 63 if it is not set already. I have a doubt if that amp is a culprit in this setup too.

You can do that m4ugr8. Folks around here enjoy watching pictures of ICE installs very much (that includes me)

You can also post the solution so that other members having the same problem can be benefited.

I was in Gurgaon so couldn't make it there, if I was in office I would have dropped by. In fact I did drop by the other day when your car was there for the install and tuned your front stage. The sub wasn't done by then and I was in a hurry.

I'm glad it worked out for you, I just instructed the installer (Pramod) how to tune it to your requirement. Thats all.

Enjoy the music...
