Default Suggestions on ICE setup - Zen

Hi Guys,
Need some advice on the ICE setup i have in my Zen.

Setup

Head Unit - Pioneer 6950IB
Front speakers - 607C
Back speakers - GTO 937
JBL GTO 60, 4 channel Amp (Driving the Sub and rear speakers)
Pioneer Baby Amp 4 channel(Driving the front speakers, forgot the model)
Boss Wiring Kits

Initially when i had a single amp, Bass was a little on the higher side and vocal was low. Even after tuning, i could not get the vocal part increased, which gave me a good reason to buy a 2nd hand Pioneer baby Amp to drive the front speakers, which actually improved my vocal part(Not considerably).

Questions i have is,
  1. How is the Pioneer baby amp performance? do i have chuck it and go for a new one?
  2. Will fixing component and tweeter setup make a difference in vocal and Bass part?
  3. Anything else i can add to have a better performance.
Cheers

From what you have described, it sounds like your setup was not set & tuned properly.

Could you describe the settings on your HU, JBL cross-overs as well as the amps?

Most users have the fronts speakers on the amp, rears on the HU and the sub driven from the bridged 2nd pair on the amp. That way you get good front soundstage, decent rear fill and good bass.

Though you haven't mentioned which sub you have, your setup - with sub and rear ovals on amp - WAS a bit bass-heavy. But, with an amp driving the front speakers now, it can be tuned to how you want it.

I have JBL 12" dual coil, 1200 watts sub driven by the JBL Amp, which also drives my rear speakers

BTW i dont have the cross overs, just the front speakers connected to the HU

Any suggestion on who can tune it as per my requirements, nearby Vijayanagar

Cheers

JBL 607C SHOULD have a small black cross-over box, to which the actual speakers are connected. Perhaps the installer has hidden it out of sight somewhere?

No one in the Vijayanagar area, unfortunately. The best place to get your tuning checked would be to go to Sound Factor (crossing of Lavelle and Vittal Mallya Road, corner building, ground floor; it is on Lavelle Road coming from Airlines hotel side). I am sure they would be able to help out do the small change in wiring (shift the front speakers to the amp, rears to HU or the Pio amp) and tuning.

Where did you buy and install the JBL stuff from?

The name of the shop is Sound Factor! It's the JBL brand shop, so you can't miss it.
