Pls help in ICE upgrade in Santro

am planning to upgrade my front existing Boston 4" coax (it seems it doesn't exist there) , the rear is so dominating, car is Santro.

am planning to install MB Quart DSD210 4" 2-Way Component Speakers --brought from UK

the specs are:

4 (100mm) 2- Way Separate System
Tweeter: 3/4 (19mm) Titanium dome
Woofer: 4 (100mm) Polypropylene Cone
Crossover: 12 dB/Octave @ 4000Hz
Impedance: 4 Ohms (nominal)
Freq. Response: 65Hz to 32,000Hz
Power Range: 30watts (rms.) to 70watts

Gurus i think Illusion also has 4" compo, i don't think i can audition MB Quart anywhere, so suggest whether i can go ahead with MB Quart.

I dont think upgrading from 4" coax to 4" comps will increase the front stage drastically. Go in for bigger comps if you want to concentrate on improving the front stage.

Arrey Panky-saheb, the tweeter of the compos will be mounted on the dash near the A-pillars, and hence will definitely improve the front imaging.

Bigger comps will only improve bass over this. If @Vino_david is OK with the current bass level (the mid-bass of the compos is expected to be slightly better than the co-ax), he need not bother with cutting-shutting the Santro door to mount the larger speakers.

DerAlte bhai....you are pretty right!

Vino says rear overpowers the front..considering this I suggested using bigger comps. Yes, adding comps in place of coax would definetely improve SQ, but NOT drastically. :-)

@navin i still dont have those MB Qart in my hand, is MB quart a good product ?
if comps gonna change front stage, definitely i'll put 4" comp, i dont want to cut my door plsss.

MBQ is not what it used to be. Why not try Illusion or Hertz as they are available locally and are supported ably.
