They are out of budget for most of us, but they are mind blowing. I listened to lbm's setup and the midbass was soooooooooo good that I can't explain it in words here.
He told me that the midbass improved after changing over to steg and before that on the other amp it was non existant.

Quite a circus!.... We even seem to have multitude of PM's being exchanged in the background (instead of on the thread)- which is probably good!

Personally - I agree with a few points and am confused on the others.. however I believe "Glass half full OR half empty" - BOTH are correct - just a question of perception. However my opinion is irrelevant here - so will keep it off the gravy train!

One question though - what WAS the ORIGINAL requirement?

1. LBM has chosen his components carefully. DLS-Steg combo works well.
2. Glad to see that your issues have been addressed. AKG, this is your thread. I am closing it till you get a new sub so it is not hijacked. When you do you can PM me to open it again.
