Very true, @B&T-bhai, but those are available only in cities. But, in towns like Patiala, the dealers won't go that far as to keep the quasi-genuine stuff, which might not perform very badly either. Their vision and reach is limited to buying from the corridors of Lajpat Rai Market or such places.

And you are right, absence of the warranty card is a dead giveaway of a fake, though the accessories don't come with that anyhow.

they also provide warranty of the product on their behalf if you give them a few more money.as my friend got 2 years warranty on his amp by just paying 500 rs extra. even we have an xplod showroom in patiala i went there also they were also ready to sell there product cheaper if i took it without warranty. there was a large difference of about 2000-3000 in a head unit and upto 1000 for a four channel amp if i take them without warranty

Since you said you want to buy sub amp and speaker, I assume that you have the sub-woofer. So I am asking what is the plan.

i usually listen to songs with bass . i want my sound system to produce lot of bass without the subwoofer going out of phase at higher volume.the sound should be a perfect match of bass and treble.there should be no distortion at high volume also.

Good components will cost you 6-6.5K, Rear oval coxials will be 3.5-4K, Decent 4 channel Amp-12K, Mono Amp-12K, woofer-4-6K now we are going out of budget either streatch you budget or buy some compromized products or go for grey stuff.

Your budget will look something like this.
4 speakers: 8K JBL or Blau
Amp for the above 7K the usual suspects from Pio, JBL, Blau and Kenwood
Sub: 5K JBL GT5
mono for sub: 10K the venerable Pio 510 if it available.
