Hi Sandy in my opinion for a Budget of 30k you can get a better system than what you have listed.

I will wait for others to suggest but in the mean while please let us know:

- What Kind of music do you listen to
- Do you have any preference in audio, as in loud with thumping bass or soft sound with tight bass etc..

This will help us to suggest you better equipment in your budget.

boss cables are useless. go for audison/scosche etc. for power cable, buy a finolex wire... get in touch with LBM, he has done a Ph. D. in car power arrangement or search the forum.

front speakers look no good. i doubt if pioneer has any original speakers at that price. if you drive yourself, you'd be better off investing in a good pair of front components. since you are in ghatkopar, why don't you connect with B&T and check out his wagon R as well? ... not very far from you.

I'd suggest JBL speakers in lieu of the Pioneer speakers.

Pio 7950 seems expensive; retails around 8400/-
1010 seems expensive, you can get 1011 for 650/-
speaker boxes : max 600;
Replace Pio with JBL 60.4 much much better;
boss : crap;
Harness : what for?
Antenna (if internal) Ok, external costs Rs. 25/-
Labour : Max 150/-
socket: kaun saa? Bijli wala?

that boss cable kit should be around 500rs. get an l&t or finolex multistrand power cable instead.

in 30k i would install this.

front components - 6k hertz/jbl/illusion.
amplifier - jbl gto 75.4 if its still available. 8.5k gray.
HU - 7950. 9k
sub - jbl. 4k
enclosure - 2k
wiring(power) and labor - 2k.
interconnects - 1k.

comes off to around 35k with a sub. if you want rear fills, add another 4k.

cheers

Much much better? can you tell us why? I was under the opinion that Pio 6300 is almost as good as a JBL CS 60.4

Exclamation

Music I like POP Music, Techno and sometimes trance
I have experienced the thumps of BIG woofers in some vehicles...and frankly i don't like "Vibrate my whole body" kind of bass, i would like a clean or soft bass. ( dunno may be i am ageing)
The suggestion for boss cables was from friend of friend, who use to deal in car audio himself, so from threads I learned its CRAP so i need to call up my guy first thing in morning and ask him what kind of cables he has installed.

Regarding the wiring and box charges
Harness is "clamp on" so that they don't do wire slicing.
Speaker box is costing me 1500 for pair.
Sockets i guess are the RF connectors which they provide for speakers and woofer so that in case i need to remove the
speakers i can just unplug them.
I think my dealer is using good quality power cables, its around 1/2 inch thick cable with red/blue sheath.

regarding config of ice
I would have to go with pio 7950 as i had specially placed order for it and i like the rotary panel.

I need suggestions with model nos if possible
1.> front speakers ( i am gonna get a JBL not 1010 as said earlier post)
2.> Rear Speakers ( 2-3 people had recommended Pioneer 6975, its bit costly but its worth it.
3.> AMP (if we compare jbl gto 75.4 with PIO M-6300 what would be pro and cons,
I am bit inclined towards getting a same brand config

I agree, performance-wise, I've heard both the amps driving same speakers and there is nothing much to talk about here.

The Pio maybe easier to find than the discontinued 60.4 - I may be wrong here. However, if the 60.4 comes with B&W, it would be a good choice.

This sums up to 9350/-

You can instead invest in a good pair of components for the front (6k) and a decent pair of co-axials for the rear. Forget the speaker boxes, they're bad. The boxes keep wandering around at the back, get dirty and don't deliver the highs when placed on the floor IMO. Plus, the Pio speakers and the speaker boxes are terribly overpriced in your case.

You can get all this for free if you bragain and get a good discount IMO. At least, many of them.

If you can squeeze a sub in this setup after the discounts and/or settling for an older model HU, it would be great.

They may have similar/identical specs, but here's the case....I tried 607C (only front) with 3 amps 6300, 60.4 and 75.4 before I bought 75.4.

6300 : worst of the lot, (I'm not saying its crap), the highs were not good, mid lacked.

60.4 : comparatively much better sound.

75.4 : AWESOME. Crystal clear sound.

Yes, am aware that settings do exist on the amp.
