Whats the new amp from JBL called? Is it the 100.4 or 1000.4?

Can anyone please explain in laymans language difference between 60.4, 75.4 and 100.4/1000.4

the watts per channel. eg 60.4 . 60 watts per channel and 4 channels.

ppl need help with my innova..plannin to get a gud system for de car..preferably 2 din..awaiting ya suggestion..budget can be stretched but preferably 20k...

For 20k, you can get JVC HU with USB for around 8k-4k for your old HU in exchange so rest budget of 16k, you can get 2 sets of compos to drive the 4 speakers, and the remaining money for the damping and install.

your 2din head unit will eat up most of the budget.

Bump guys, any input? Which amp to go in for, budget is not much at 6k, 75.4 and 60.4 have been discontinued

For 6-7K you have the Kenwood 8401, Blau GT4, JBL GT5, and Pio 6300.

The 75.4 is arated at 100W at 1% THD, the 100.4 is a new ckt and is rated at 100W at 0.2% THD.

Sir what is THD? How good is Kenwood/Blau compared to JBL? And by JBL GT5 you mean the new 604?

Total Harmonic Distortion.

There is also Inter Modulation Distortion (IM) and a host of other distortions some of which I believe we do not have the techniques to accurately and consistently measure except with our ears.

I like the Kenwood for the volts it can swing and the Blau for it's smoothness (if lack of excitement) but I have not heard the JBL GT5 or Pio 6300.

I just picked up a 75.4 for me and 'Raxx' each.
The shipment came from Aamchi Mumbai.

There's 2 other 75.4s up for grabs for any lucky folks in chennai,if interested.

Well i guess ill need to check the JBL, Pioneer, Blau, Kenwood before deciding. Though i always prefer JBL. Whats the range of these amps?

How do the above amps compare with Blaupunkt GTA480

I am looking at SQ and not much boom.
