Warranty matters irrespective of the product and most imp of all irrespective of price you pay.
It gets you piece of mind most imp of all......
@Sidhu Bai ji,check out JBL's latest series sub, very good for the thing your are looking for....
Plz if possible don't go for bass tube, rather buy a sub and get a ported box,amp you have shortlisted is great value for money!!!!!

You can get a pair of GZ Radioactive subs.

:: Ground Zero :: Subwoofer / Basic Level

One thing I wanna mention here is that the SPL series sub is having the name SPL but it gives out some nice SQL also...

Nitrous..extremly simple to bust your sub..one wrong connection is all that is required!!

I think its extremely important to have a good install done by a pro and get good speakers with WARRANTY..

If you wanna play around..the option of going to the grey market is always open.

@Gill shaab, JBL subs are nice but i want a sub which can be coupled up with Kenwood monoblock, now Ground Zero seems to be best option.

If you are planing for a monoblock, then makes sense to go for a DVC Sub.
Because then only will you be able to down to 2Ohm or even lesser.

With an SVC, you will be stuck at 4ohm. But 9103 puts out 500WRMS @ 4ohms. Not too bad for all the Linkin Park Rock that you listen to.

Just for my info, Why exactly go for a monoblock?
Why not a better, cleaner sounding Amp for the front components first?

dude, i know all the ohm stuff, thats why i'm looking for compatible sub and i'll be getting another amp for components.but first i want to upgrade sub and amp, baas at higher volume is just not right. after rockford's pioneer sub is not doing justice to my setup.

In which case its up to the manufacturer whether they should honour the warranty or not. I doubt warranties provide for an imbecile carrying out the installation.

thanks a lot, pajji
and i wanted to ask that if we double the input power to a sub ( in case we are running it at half the rated power). how much overall gain will occur .
i don't expect output to double but still how much gain can i expect.
and how much difference does type of car body makes, like in case same setup is run in a suv and then in any small car.

I'm no guru but i would agree with LBM, the GZ subs can go pretty low and also are quite reliable in terms of warranty issues

spl wise i would say they have u would have to listen to them to belive the amount of bass these subs produce along with the crisp punch they can deliver

make sure u get them installed from a reliable installer and do give importance to the enclosure as well

also keep an amount of ur budget aside for damping as well
