Cheapest branded HU which plays MP3?

I have just completed basic ICE on my Safari with GTO 937s at the rear and GT5 coaxials in the front with a Pio 4950. (config and installer courtesy Nitrous)

Got it at a very good price too and they sound great.

Coming to the point, I want to ICE my mom's 800 and for that I wanted to know what is the Cheapest branded HU which plays MP3? (grey market price). I need only the HU as I am expecting some speakers from a friend.

Pioneer 2050 costs 4k here (grey) and this was recommended my the installer.

Anything cheaper available?

Try JVC.I have a KDG334.Costs me around 3.5 grey.Has been running since a year now.No problems,no maitaince.Had a different JVC model before this and it ran like a dream before it was stolen.Total VFM

try DAPIC.. i saw their dvd player for 3.5k , just mp3 will be much lesser.
jvc is also good when considering low priced players. avoid sony in all cases.

Also check out Panasonic : I was surprised to know that they also had ICE, I knew the brand more their wonderful stereo component systems.
But we recently got the car audio for my sister's Santro, and our objectives were the same "lowest branded system which plays MP3" :the dealer recommended Panasonic HU with some other imported speakers, front and rear (they claimed it was group company of Panasonic, but we didnt care anyway). The HU looks quite cool and the sound is also good. Cost of HU + 4 speakers approx 7.5K. If you check the grey market price of the HU alone, you should get some good deals.
