Hyundai I10 Audio Setup - Help needed - Team-BHP

Hi gurus,

I'm going for a new Hyndai i10 within a week and planning to get a decent audio installed. My budget is around 40 K.

Currently, I'm looking at Pioneer Head Unit, JBL speakers (front and rear) , JBL amp and a SUB.

Plz suggest me as to which combination of the above would give an incredible output. I prefer a pretty good bass without losing sound quality.
I mostly listen to House/RnB and Hindi also.
Anyother good combination is always welcome.

I would also like to know speakers/sub output, type of amp to be used. Plz suggest.

Thanks Eddy for your quick guidance. However I have few more questions.

Any idea guys, who is genuine and master at this kinda audio installation in HYDERABAD??

Rohit (as per thread http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/sound-...10-iced-4.html (Got My i10 ICED) ) got two amps and speakers at the rear.

I would prefer a single amp(unless really needed) and speakers at the front too.

Front: JBL GTO 607C
Rear :JBL GTO 6537
Sub: JBL GT5-12
JBL 4ch amp:JBL GT5 A604 that supplies 80W RMS to the front and 160 watts to the sub.
This should fit into the 40k budget.

Is it preferable to have the front speakers or the kickpanel?
i heard setting up speakers on the kickpanel will give really a good effect.

can we setup speakers in the kickpanel for Hyundai i10?

Today, i visited quite a famous dealer in Hyd - Sprocket... i felt he was quoting a very high price.

Pioneer HU DEH-5900 - 9990/-

JBL Front Comp 0607 - 6500/-

JBL Rear 0934 - 4950/-

JBL Amp 4 ch GTO 075 - 7990/-

JBL 12" Sub (with enclosure) - 7990/-

Wiring - 1800/-

MDF tray - 1200/-

All of them original with warranty

The total was coming upto 41K appr. inc installation charges n misc.. Howver therez discount and the final price is coming upto 36.5 K

I heard the demo and it was mindblowing but I felt it was overpriced?

What do you all say guys?

Yes the kickpanel can be a nice place and can give good effect but it there is also the possibility of the speaker grills getting kicked and dented.

I'm not an expert on pricing but I would ask him what brand of wires he is using. Some brands like BOSS have problems. Also I do not see anybudget for damping. I would suggest that you at the very least get the front doors damped.

Hi everybody,
Will be soon getting an i10.Need all your suggestions to ICE the i10.
These are my requirements or my constraints

First of all, my budget is 15K (give or take 2 grands )
And I dont want my car to be cut/drilled so using only the available speaker enclosures.Also dont prefer tray mounted speakers.
This is a rough config what i had in mind after searching thru numerous threads...

HU : want USB support/play different formats/Look good
- Have shortlisted the pioneer series but not decided upon any particular model.

Speaker config what i have in mind
Front : (Component) JBL GTO 607
Rear : (Co axial ) JBL GTO 937
so gurus, what do you think ?

@mods : I'm not sure whether to start a new thread or continue within the existing thread ,hence posting it here

OK - try haggling for discount. these are MRP

JBL Amp 4 ch GTO 075 - 7990/-
Seems like a GT5 amp. I think GTO amps are more expensive

Looks like JBL 1204B

Wiring - 1800/-
pls check on the bracd of RCA, power cable and the speaker cables used
i assume that you will use the speaker cables provided with JBL speakers

MDF tray - 1200/-
should be around 1000/-

missed a few misc items like fuse, plank if you fitting the amp on the rear seat which will add to your final cost

Thanks Navin... He gave a wide range of wiring brands and he asked to select any of them... i forgot the names but as far as i remember, BOSS is not in his list.

There are some other charges like damping which i didnt include(just put them in misc)... if u add all of them, it come to less than 41K.

Hi. Beware of duplicates of Monster and other brands but i guess Sprocket can be trusted. Scosche is another good brand, IMO somewhat cheaper than some bigwigs.

I suggest that you can carry your own power cable (finolex). Better than putting some unbranded wire.
