Exclamation Cheap Monoblock Amp and Sub Enclosure..

Hi Gurus.... How are all of you ?? (It's been a long time since last post so had to ask).
I have been looking around tbhp for some answers but unable to find them... Basically , I have the following two requirements .. in order of priority -

1) I need a enclosure for my 12" SonyXplod sub (1000W max/300W RMS @ 4ohm),and before I get any suggestions asking me to chuck the sub and amp (Sony XM-552ZR 2Ch. in bridged mode) .... I must say that though I want to do that , I cant due to budget constraints.
So coming back to the point.. I need a suitable (ported/sealed)enclosure for the above setup that gives maximum bang for the buck, if u know what I mean...
Gurus , please tell me for how much and where can I get the above enclosure in south delhi ??

2) I know my sony amp s**ks big-time , so please suggest any decent amp able to produce 300W RMS @ 4ohm any way whatsoever. I dont mind if it's mono , bridged , or any other config posssible. Basically I'm looking to feed the sub it's 300Watts in any way possible ...within a budget that is.
And the amp has to be 7000/- to 8000/- max(Grey mkt. is fine too). I know it's a tough ask but with some help from u guys....I know it's possible. If I'm not mistaken then pioneer does have such a amp that can put out that amount of power in bridged mode for 7-7500K. If yes then please someone gimme complete details.
Thanks in advance.......

Sonic, Sony subs IMO are very overrated. Investing all that money on a good amplifier may not be that fruitful after all. Why don't you consider selling the sub and your current amplifier off to get something better on both ends?

Your sub is the weak link. No much money you blow on an amp, your sub will still make it sound dreadful

@rocksterrraghu - I know about Sony being at the bottom of the brand pile and all... but if I have to upgrade the entire setup I can only do it in phased manner. Hence first the Amp then the rest....

@ LBM , though I would like to say both quality and quantity.... due to budget constraints I can choose only quantity.

One more query guys.... Does it matter at all if I feed the sub 300W RMS in Bridged or Mono mode. Cos as far as I have noticed.... amp power costs much less per Watt when produced in bridged mode.

Since U're on a budget, Im gonna suggest stuff that you can very well source in Delhi for 7k.

2-ch bridged:Pioneer 5300T=>380W RMS @4 ohms
Mono option:Pioneer 7300M=>250WRMS @4 ohms and 360W @2 ohms
Note:The 7300M mono amp has been replaced by D7400M class-D mono which is technically superior .So, get the latter if its available with your dealer.

If U can get the mono, U can replace your current sony sub with a very good 350-400W DVC sub later when U decide.

Yeah Nitrous , I guess your advice makes sense.

I would prefer a good monoblock able to pump out about 350-400W RMS at 2 ohms and add a good 2 ohm DVC sub thereafter.

BTW... is the Pio D7400M readily available in delhi and for what price ???

if you are on budget get a pioneer sub and a pioneer 2-ch or mono.

If you are ok with that range of 7-8K just for Mono Amp then why not JBL GTO301.1 amp available for 9K in grey, later on upgrade your sub also.
