Default AMP tripping

Hi

Hi everyone,its been quite along anyways I got this problem so let me share it with you all.

I got a Fiesta and inside i got component in front and infinity at rear and to support this i got a sony 4channel amp in the boot,additonal got a JBL basstube and sony 2channel XM-ZR602 amp to support it in the boot.

But the problem that comes is my sony XM-ZR602 trips within an hour of play.
The shopkeeper suggest to get a fan installed but i dont realy trust him, so help me out guys.

Please put in more details for wiring. We would like to know the gauge of the wires you used. Fuse rating, amplifier ground wire rating, etc.

Ideally you should have 2 x 8 gauge wires from the battery to the amplifier and each link should have a fuse block (60 A) at least. Same 2 x 8 gauge wires should be going down to your seat belt harness for earthing.

What is the gain set on the ZR602 amp currently?

Reduce the gain in the amp and check again (don't boost bass at the HU yet).
If it trips after a longer time, say 2 hours, reduce gain further and increase bass at the HU to get back the punch.

At what volume you play the setup in that 1 hr ?

the wire is 8 gauge n it usually trips at volume 15 to 20
