hello

any suugestions for good HU with USB connectivity.I went through a
the Pioneer site and found DEH-P5090UB/DEH-P3090UB.But 5090 has 3RCA and 3090 has 2RCA outputs. What does that exactly mean? Are there any other good ones from Balupunkt/Sony

There is also a model between the two - 4090/4050. That also has 3 RCA ouputs. With 3 RCA's you can plug in the front, rear as well as the sub woofer through an ammplifier. with 2 RCA's, you can only plug in two of the three.

If u don't mind not having a flap-face, go for the 4050. It has everything else the 5050 has.
P.S: The '50' models are the greymarket ones and the xx'90' ones are the B&W ones.
Except for the 6050, which is same grey/B&W.

I have a UB-3050. It has a front USB slot. Pretty pleased with it. Not sure how many RCA outs it has, can go back and check.

Got it for around 5k.

Hey what is your Budget for the Head Unit?
With Blaupunkt these are the following models with USB

St Louis MP 56 - Around 15K with B/W
Mamburg MP 57.
Kingston MP 47.

Dont even think of Sony.
Blaupunkt Hamburg and Kingston the only difference is the later
does not have bluetooth so would be cheaper.
I have auditioned the Hamburg with Blau speakers and the SQ sounded good to my ears. But before buying any of these blaus make sure there is no software problem with any of these two.

Pioneer is the only recommendation on our team bhp most of the times.
Check out the new kenwood 2008 line up in the following website links.
Rest you listen and let your ears decide is what all recommend.

Kenwood Corporation | Car Electroics | 1DIN Receivers

Buy the one with Max Preouts as it is Pioneer Hu's Live long so its better to buy the best more preouts more speakers you can put. If you look at it like a future proof purchase.

I agree. 5050 is a good set, currently used by me. I dont like the front USB in 3050.

P.S. @naturaldisaster: Please do not post like this... with dots... this is not liked by many at tbhp.
