ICE for my Innova

Please advise me on what I can do for my Innova. I am not happy with the stock system that came with my V. I am looking for a good audio/video system. I am not even sure what my budget should be.

okay since its innova, we have another member bthithankar from hyderabad too search for him he is usually in the travelogues section, if you can meet him audition his ICE.

i was told its quite pleasant so just check it out!

first to decide off you should at least mention what kind of music you listen to so that we can then fix a proper budget!

or even better come up with a max budget!

Yes. We should get this right to start off with.
For a good audio&video ICE setup in an Innova you can start with a budget of rupees 1lakh. If you want to spend more, then we can go ahead too. But let's look into it in detail first.

For a lakh, you can get a very good Dvd Head unit + components for front & middle row + two 8"/10" subwoofers + 4/6 channel amp + monoblock amp + all the wiring and necessary damping.
Ok, let me try and split it up here:
Dvd HU = 20k
Compos = 15k (for 2 sets)
Subs = 20k (for 2 with boxes)
4channel amp = 10k
Mono amp = 15k
Wiring, damping, install = 10k
Roof mounted LCD screen = 10k
You can add/minus equipment according to your tastes and liking.

Dvd HU = 50k
Compos = 25k (for 2 sets)
Coaxials = 5k (for rearmost row)
Subs = 30k (for 2 with boxes)
6 channel amp = 25k
Mono amp = 20k
Headrest monitors = 15k (for 2)
Roof mounted LCD = 15k
Wiring, damping, install = 15k

Wanna go more high?

What are you laughing at? Maybe I should have added this emoticon.

Anyways, yeah Basu might be a good person to go to but these days he appears to have given me the cold sholder. Something I did/said? Dont know now. But I know he would be the best bet with all his extensive research on the product.

As regards the kind of music that I listen, it depends on my mood. I do everything - Filmy, Pop, Soft/Hard Rock, Jazz, Hip-hop and sometimes just the radio whatever the heck they dish out these days on the FM in Hyderabad.

Budget is a dicey thing. I dont want to overdo it any more. I already splurged it when I went for the V. Just want to make most of what I already have on the stock and perhaps add a few whistles and bells here and there now and then to make everything satisfactory.
