Strongly advise against this vivek. unless your installer is as skilled as Sams they will look Ugly.

theres the head unit of the optra.
By the way if any of you want that really cool tissue box, let me know.

In fact i will email all JBL showrooms, if any team-bhp member goes to the manager and tells him he's from team bhp, he will hand over a tissue box FOC... ummm... even if you dont buy a thing ok?

I can see Sam has taken almost a full strip of Combiflam. the last tablet is still there near the gear shift.

Thats the external gain control for the subwoofer amplifier. Very handy.

Dude the 9830 and 9833 and 9835 have a gain control for the sub.

X, in case a dealer doesnt help you, you can always visit the JBL showroom at GK1, when passing by. I've emailed the manager, he'll give you the box.

ok the gain control on the Alpine HU is not a big range but one can get around that in a cleaner fashion....change the effective input resistance of the subwoofer amplifer! This involves opening the sub amp but since my sub was built by me it was not an issue.

Default Remote control advice

@Sam, I have a Sony CDX-F5510X HU.
Wanted to find out if I can connect it to a steering mounted remote control.
If yes, what is the model number of the remote control?
Of course, I would prefer it without any messy wires sticking out from everywhere.
I have a Petra with an OE leather steering wheel.
Approximate cost would be helpful too.
