| Distinguished - BHPian ![]() | The 1204D is a dual 4 ohm voice coil subwoofer, the 1202D is a dual 2 ohm voice coil sub. The GT4-12 is a single voice coil 4 ohm subwoofer. The GT4-12 is a cult favourite and sounds excellent. We were forced by demand to re-introduce this product, after discontinuing it in favour of the GTO1202/4. That itself should explain what I think of the GT4-12 |

Just checked out with my cousin. He has Sound Barrier 4 channel Amp (Rs.35.k) installed. Says its quite good. It has a power output of 4800W on it. Any suggestions? Might think of gettin it with JBL 12 sub later | |

| BHPian | So should be the power, I guess. Since you are on a very tight budget, it might be a better idea to look around for a used amp - like a Pioneer 6100. I recently picked up a 2 month old JBL CS60.4 for 4k ;-) Did anyone notice the part that says, "Torture Tested". That's one hell of a tagline for a sales pitch. And what about Pio 306 DVC vs 1202D vs GT4-12 ? Why i am asking about the above is because i was at my ICE guy and he suggest Pio / Kenwood over JBL. He showed me a Kenwood Sub which was for Rs. 4800 and a DVC... Don't know the model number but it had Silver grey cone (Very Stylish)... He said that this Sub blows anything within 5K.. ![]() | |
