For about 5-7k you can get a decent Kenwood or sony. I dunno the model numbers, but I know the Sony sounds good and is available with bill and warranty. As always, we vote against the Sony speakers, there are better at that price range. The kenwood speakers are better by by a hair. You can get good fronts and rears from Alpine, Blau and JBL that that price. This will depend on your taste and your budget. To give you an idea, I can tell you that JBL front 5.25 - GTO526e is Rs 3250/pr and rear GTO936e is Rs 4750/pr Thats about your budget.

| yur budgeting makes alot of sense pingmepal. 7k for 4 speakers would really mean about 2.5-3K for the rear and 4-4.5K for the front. 7K for the HU the 1028 is the best fit but if you can strech a bit the 3028 and 228 offer you great VFM If you ask Sam he'd manage to fit a dinner for you and your GF into this budget as well. BTW Sam check this out....unrealted but FYI http://www.crutchfield.com/S-4BucbB4...0&I=700ALP1000 |

You will have to buy it from Naren at JBL Bangalore. 16 gauge about 60bucks and 12 gauge about 200 bucks i think per metre. Pritam will get it put it for you.

Monster cable is an american company that makes wires, just like belden does, but Monster is a marketing phenomenon, while Belden offers better quality cable, often at cheaper prices. Monster is known by every galli ka kutta but Belden by the discerning few. naren has both Monster and Belden at bangalore, but the 16AWG belden at that price is a MUCH better bet.

Dear Sam/Navin/ Aseem Now I am Slightly confused. Basically I have three scenarios finalized for my getz Pioneer 7750 HU ( I would love to have WMA/AAC and match the HU blue to my Getz)- Scenarios 1. Front and rear JBL GTO 636e mounted in factory locations as suggested by SAM 2. Front Components JBL GTO 606C and rear JBL 636E ( or shoud I get something cheaper for only fill) 3. Somebody suggested I use the components in back and only coaxials in front. I have no idea how that will sound. So my question is which is the best setup. - Specailly my question is to Aseem who is using components in front and coaxials in rear. And ples. do remember no ampliers or bass box/tube purchase plans atleast for next three years( till I repay the car loan) Thanx a lot. By the way pls. sugesst any good place in Navi Mumbai or pune to get this done. I will be getting delivery next week.

| Sam, I met sridhar today. I told him that i was planning to get the Belden wires for the speakers but he said that it might not be required since I wasn't going for a sub and those quality wires are mostly required specially for the subs, and that JBl speakers do come with excellent wires for fitment. Whats your take on this... If your saying that it for sure is needed to make the speakers [compos+ovals] sound excellent, i'm getting them no matter what. Just wanted to cross check once again. I hope you don't mind... Sorry AK

| Sam, I know I am bugging you but I am not able to find the battery wire. Do I connect this HU in parallel with the Autocop unit? Please tell me something. I really want to do this myself.
