Although I am not a guru here, I would like to share what I did for my car, it would help you to decide faster with a constrained budget. You can also check my photo album for details of each. Summary is below:
1. Pioneer HU, P 6950 IB without B&W 7.9k
2. Pioneer Rear speakers (4way) 3.5k
3. JBL front speakers (3way) 2.5k
4. Rear Boxes, antenna, fitting 800
5. JBL amp 60.4 6.5k
6. Xplod RCA kit 800
7. Pioneer sub (1200 watts) 3.5k
7. Sub Box (Ported) 1.5k
8. Fitting in 2 stages 350
Grand Total 27350

You can avoid the rear boxes and speakers and the front too, instead go for components on the doors with a sub. It will cut down cost. You can PM me for any more details, also drop in anytime to check the real output I am getting out of this set up. I have been carefully watching the whole installation process each time, made sure the electrician never cut any wires that would affect warranty or any related issue. And I must also say the electricians who are in the ICE excels on their experience in the field, not based on whom they are working for.

I would not recomend JC road to anyone, but there are many other places where you can trust the work and genuine products. In my case, all the work was done in my home parking, therefore I saved a lot on petrol and time in the traffic jams.

Jaggu, remove the offending speaker, turn it upside down and blow compressed air on it while you push it gently in and out.

That should sort you out.

if the voice coils are bust they are usually open circuit and hence will show infinity ohms on an ohm meter.

How about this configuration ? I found it quite convincing and falling within my budget. The main thing is all the items will be authorised and with bill and warranty. Its a Blaupunkt package. Please advise.

GTx 693 (3-Way, 6 x 9" Oval) - Rs. 3450
GTc 662 (2-way component, 165mm) - Rs. 2450
GTb 1200 (12 inch Box woofer) - Rs. 6500
GTw 1200 (12 inch open subwoofer) - Rs. 3750
GTA 4 Special MKII ( 4 channel) - Rs. 6350
1600 - RCA Kit and 800 as the installation charges

Total - 28200(with Box woofer) and Rs. 25000 with open subwoofer. I think if I have to spend an extra 800-1000 Rs. for box if I go with open sub.

What is your take on it ?

The best thing I liked in this is that the parts will be with bill and warranty.

why not consider the Thx, Thc speakers mated to the Gtb sub.

Thx and Thc speakers are costly as compared to Gtx and GTc series. I have to draw a line somewhere...
Anyways I will be visiting Mandovi Motors for a demo on Saturday. Will try to negotiate on pricing, if he agrees then I can think on Thx and Thc series speakers....

Yep. About 11K for a install of stuff worth 75K. But this 11K included everything other than the equipment. Everything meaning, a bit of damping, all the wood & carpeting, connectors, screws, etc etc. Personally, for installs above say, 30K value of equipment, I think 10% to 15% is a very fair charge for labour, if the install is done perfectly.

Funny thing is, the install charge was ridiculously less when I got the door-pads wrapped with art-leather, and when I upgraded my sub and sub-amp, and zero for my recent HU upgrade. I've visited my installer for tuning and various rattle-removal sessions umpteen times since the first upgrade. He refuses to charge. For somebody like this, I wouldn't balk at paying 20% at the time of install.
