I have decided to go for JBL GTO 937 and GT5 502 for now. But am confused over HU.
JBL showroom guys say Blau would be a better choice but couple of my friends asking me to go for Pio. So which one is better Blau or Pio?

Now apart from brand am not sure of which model to go for I need Bluetooth and USB compatible player. My budget for HU is 6 to 7k please help me out decide on which HU to get.

Audition both units. Guess USB ones would be more useful.

Looking at buying HU with B&W or grey?

What would be a comaparable HU to alpine 9886/9887 from the Clarion range and Pioneer range if any?

Why is the new clarion range so low end? Even Pioneer and Alpine havent gone upmarket with their new models.

2.Any recommendations to tune the amp better?
Did you not PM me? If you did I think I mentioned moving the filters to about 80Hz.

If you find the 9887 or the Clarion DXZ775 low range then it is time to look at the likes of the HX-D2 or DRZ9255! :-)

I am not saying 9887 or DXZ775 are low range.

I am talking about their latest units. Bar the 9886 other alpine models are VFM. Ditto for Clarion which doesnt even have 575usb comparitive model. Pioneer again has gone lower from 7950ub.

But I maybe mistaken.

And I certainly wont buy hx-d2 ot 9255(though I would love to). :P My whole system would be cheaper than that.

Wondering - Are speaker wires for car audio different from those used in home theaters? I mean, can standard 16 gauge wire sold as car speaker wire, be also used in basic home theaters?

Yes it can be. The reverse, i.e. using home cable for car is sometimes not possible due to the cable being flat or in a very hard jacket etc, physical constraints more than anything else.

Most home audio speakers are 8 ohms and hence asked.
