do u have any idea about sound quality of Soundstream SST6.9, Soundstream PCS.69N and Pioneer TS-A6992S and A6982S? how much they cost to me aproximatly?
soundstream SST6.9 comes with 2 way crossovers.
Try to listen to both pioneer and JBL choose which you like best.

Lots of fakes floating in the market too.

Suggested by all stay away from soundstreams products they are not what they used to be. Stick to Pioneer JBL which is more popular in the market.

Hi Dj Sandy!

This is bob, Sams ungill

The Honda City 1.5EXi sure is a good pick, Hehe Coming to ICE, let me tell you how to start off. If you want the GooRoo's to help then first specify a budget.

Polk has some good stuff on offer here like the Momo series, though i dont find the pricing attractive at all.

Since you want the whole shebang (stereo, spooker, tutor, oofer, ampli) please set aside minimum 2k for wiring.

T-Bhp favourites are - JBL, Illusion, Hertz amongst others.

Gurus,
Powering a 55W RMS JBL507C with 142W RMS from a JBL 75.4(both at 2 ohms).
Is this adviseable?
If yes, what are the precautions I should take to not blow the speakers?

the 507 is rated 2 ohms but it was well discussed here that the impedance stays well above it. Also try to cross the HPF above 110 to 125 to keep the low freq to the minimum.

Guys, is there a simple way to secure the speaker grill ? It should be secure yet removable. The one on the right speaker falls off when i close the door.

Put some double sided tape , it will help in reducing rattle and keep it secure also.

Default Monoblock! Does it make a difference?

Hi all,
I have an all Infinity set up(Ovals and Components) in my Lancer. I would like to drive the Components with an amp and leave Ovals powered up by the head unit. I have a 12" jbl sub, irrespective of what sub I have, I wanted to know if a monoblock make that big a difference to the quality of bass produced compared with a sub hooked up with a 4 channel amp, with one channel shared by a pair of speakers?

Thanks.

Dear experts,

Looking for a suggestion on a Music system . I do not listen to a lot of music while driving , Mostly I listen to Lectures, stand up shows Baghavatham , Bagawath Geetha etc. Even when I listen to music , it is Carnatic music. I also listen to the radio, especially AM chanels and UGC FM .

(1) I want to have a music system that has a rotary radio dial . I dont mean that it needs to have a mechanical dial ,but I hate to change radio chanel using the seek button. It would be nice if I can use a rotary mechanism to select the frequency.

(2) Would like to be able to plug USB drives and listen to audio from it

(3) Would be nice, if it has bluetooth enabled and I can make and receive cell phone calls through the car audio.

(4) Would be nice if the bluetooth system has a mic that is NOT INTEGRATED into the face plate but a separate mic that can be fixed near the sun visor or some other place
