None of us live in a cocoon. many of us sleep 4-5 hrs per day and have active work and social lives outside this forum. If you feel 50 at 25 consider how old those who are 50 (in EARTH years) would feel. we are all here in the pursuit of helping each other. If you were born in 1980 your golden years should come about 2050-2065.

One Good Amp. to drive the Components and the rear 4 speakers. 4. I already have a 500W/1000W(dont rem.) its a 12" Pioneer woofer but I will add a bass tube or the 1000W JBL or the 2000W Boston. 5. Again a good amp to drive the woofers and the Bass Tube. 6. Alpine 9833 I have bought for 14K. 7. Belden Wiring all the way. 8. and dont forgett the Kick panels for all 4 doors. Please check if I am missing anythings. Mood and this shall not be my stateLast edited by moodswings : 29th August 2005 at 16:02. Reason: Change |

| Sam, I spoke with Sachin today about the JBL Amp CS 50.4 for 7k. He has suggested me to buy it. I asked him about Belden wiring as well, and he said that he doesnt have that, however he has JBL wiring kit that costs about 3k. Now is it a good idea to buy Belden wiring at 65Rs/m from FX Bangalore? How many meters do I need? I saw that Ajay bought 20 Meters. If I want to go for Subwoofer wiring as well, how many meters wil I need? And what type? Thanks in advance. |

| Aseem, you can calculate this easy. just use any thread and follow the ruote your wire will take. Geez guys. do something yourselves instead of passing things back and forth. |

| measure any similar sized car. the distances are not that different. add a few meters for murphys law. if your amps are in the trunk on your seat's back you'll need about 5 meters for the front speakers and only 1 meter for each rear speaker and sub. so 15 meters would be enough. 20m is very safe. |

Its alright to be left with a meter or 2, but the worst thing is to run out of cable, you know what I'm talking about. For a sub, like sam suggested, you need to buy the 12awg cable which according to him costs 200/meter. Last edited by k_ajay : 29th August 2005 at 17:20.
