Default Front Components L-R imbalance

Hi Gurus,

Over the past few weeks, I notice that the LEFT side Bull Audio components in my car are much louder and clearer than the RIGHT side components. I have checked the balance level to be Zero, so that is clear.

They are powered by a Blaupunkt GT4 MkII Amplifier: front channels run the comps and rear channels are bridged for the subwoofer.

I live in Gurgaon, and havent had the time to go to Delhi (I got my comps from one Delhi based store and the wiring + sub from another Delhi based store).

What could be the reason in your view?

Look forward to your inputs!

Thanks
Abhi

@abhishek3030 Well how did you check that ;

by sitting in the driver seat
by sitting in the co-drivers seat.
by listening to them within inches.

Tried all these 3 positions to check. The left side is definitely more loud.

In the boot of the Corolla, buddy. The cross-overs are in the front somewhere...have sprained my back, so can't bend to check if the setting on L and R is different.

There can be a chance of dust or dirt going in to the amp switches which might be causing this. And it can be loose RCA also.

Also check if both speakers are wired in phase, and if the amp is functioning fine, but interchanging the wires of the speakers from the amp.
