Default Re: Sub+Amp in ANHC?

I checked with Auto Planet (behind BDA Complex) at Koramangala today on the ICE for my Honda City - he suggested the following to connect with my OEM HU:

- Connection Audison Hi Level converter - 2.5k
- JBL GTO 608 with crossover - 5.5k
- Damping mat - 2k
- 2 RCA cables - 800
- Labor - 1.5k

i will use my existing 4 channel JBL CS60.4 4 channel amp and GT4 12" SW. 2 channels with front comps with cross over , 2 channels bridged with SW and rear OEM speakers to be connected from the HU.

Pls let me know:

- if the above mentioned rates are ok?
- How good is this Connection Audison Hi line converter better when compared to others like Scosche, Genesis etc. available in the market
- your views on JBL GTO 608 comps

Many thanks.

The rates seem fine.

The Audison converter is good.

As far as the speakers are concerned, the older 6 & 7 series GTos were bright. I am told that the 8 series GTOs are not as bright as the older series but I would advise you to hear a few speaker brands before making up your mind.
