Default Hissing Sound

Hi,

I have the following ICE Setup in my Sx4.
1) Nippon OEM HU
2) Kenwood KGC-4042A
3) Pioneer GMX-944
4) Pioneer GM-7300M Monoblock

When I plugin the eq I get a constant hiss. Without the eq (using y Cables) the hiss goes away. Figured out it is the Eq which is causing the sound. Thought it might be the ground which is causing this. But no it still seems to persist.

Any idea what might be causing this ?

Thanks

I would second that . Try a different set of cables. I had a similar problem and changing the cables for new set fixed it.
