| Team-BHP Support ![]() | That really is a great display, thanks for sharing. How many cars are on display? Are there more pics to follow? I have some pictures from the 1990s of the same place, shall upload once I scan them. |

| Wow, those are some nice cars. Now only Premium cars, but some offbeat and common stuff do feature in the collection. I like the Ford GPA, Willys, Split window beetle, and the last one a road + water runner. I forgot the name tough. Love the Bugatti and the Corvett too. | BHPian | Thanks for the wonderful pictures guys, unluckily when I visited the same, the place had just closed down but they did let me take a few snaps from outside, will try digging those pictures out and post same, though they are no where as good as the ones already posted. |

| Senior - BHPian | Visited the autoworld at Brussels a week ago. I was a little apprehensive when I read about the size of the exhibit, but it is so immaculate, and the cars are so lovingly prepared, you cant help but stare at each for quite a bit, and not without wonderment. All of a sudden, the 6 hours I had allocated seemed to not be enough. From the earliest 20th century steam powered ones to the beautiful gullwing, to the aztec, to the popemobile.....it was overwhelming! Feast! Last edited by mayankk : 25th July 2012 at 12:23. |

| Thanks for sharing. Lots of historic cars in there. One can imagine how awestruck the motoring public in the US of A would have been when the Cord 812 was unleashed with its hidden leadlamps and aerodynamic bodywork featuring front wheel drive - which facilitating the car to sit low & not require running boards seen on most contemporary vehicles at the time. A striking aspect from a historic perspective is how electric cars were on offer even at the early stages of evolution of the automotive Industry. I was oblivious to this phenomenon until my first visit to a world renowned Auto museum. Imagine how different our transportation world would have been if electic cars had become the standard over their IC engined counterparts? So when we talk about the future being electric, its noteworthy that the Industry had toyed with electrics at the beginning of the last century ( or perhaps even earlier if I recall). So in that respect its a bit of a 'back to the future'. |
